Dolce & Gabbana Inspired Wedding Invitations Featuring Watercolor Florals and Italian Lace

When you're getting married in Italy and love fashion and all things, Dolce & Gabbana, you need an invitation design like no one has ever had before!  #CeciBride Nicole was looking for a non-traditional wedding invitation design that still felt elegant and unique. With the wedding set to take place in Taormina, Sicily, she wanted her guests to fall in love with the city and culture as much as she had, and was looking to Ceci New York to begin to cultivate this experience through her invitation design. 

After our initial design consult with Nicole, Ceci and the design team knew that we wanted to develop a design that incorporated bold watercolor florals paired with lace elements, which you can see the design evolution of in the video below. As curious designers, we love to try different concepts for our clients and refine the design until it's just right.

Refining the invitation design further, we brought in custom watercolor florals in bright red, fuchsia and tangerine and paired those with lace graphics in pearl foil stamping for incredible depth and texture. The invitation was finished off with a red, ink tinted edge, which we then accented with a red custom converted envelope and coordinating liner for a unique, Italian-inspired touch.
