An Elegant Invitation With Pearl Foil Stamped Deco Details

Our team is made up of several talented and creative individuals who are always doing everything they can to make our clients’ spectacular weddings and events come to life. So when a member of our own Ceci family, Account Manager Kellie, got engaged to her boyfriend of 3 years, we couldn’t wait to share in the joys and celebrations of her special occasion, beginning with an invitation suite that made all of her dreams come true!

As you can expect, being in the bridal industry brings lots of inspiration and imagination to the design of your own big day. Kellie knew that she was looking for something classic and elegant. She was hoping to highlight the palette of her wedding in her favorite color purple and incorporate pearl foil since it is one of her favorite methods to use when creating unique invitation designs herself. In order to match her natural and bohemian style, we chose to print Kellie’s detailing in a soft, tonal look with finishes of the shimmering glam flourishes she so adored.

We decided to take a modern approach to Kellie’s invitation with geometric, deco-inspired patterning on the borders of her invitation card in delicate pearl foil. We drew inspiration from the flourishes in her beautiful lace dress and translated them into much of this detailing. Our insert and accessory cards tied in her dusty purple accents with coordinating typography and a hand-dyed silk ribbon that wrapped around the reply set. Since the couple has always had a deep love for furry friends, they decided that they wanted their guests to donate to Thai Street Paws Rescue and Ruff House Rescue in lieu of gifts. We created a custom card with a purple wax seal stamped with a paw print that added a final, playful personal touch. All of these details brought a creative, feminine touch to the simply sophisticated suite to achieve Kellie’s dream look.
