A Bohemian Garden Wedding at Flowerfield With Deco Glam Flair

Bohemian wedding

Sometimes, a #CeciBride is much more than just a part of our Ceci family. Developing long-lasting, personal relationships with our clients is just how we operate. We care about you and are invested in celebrating your most special moments by bringing beauty and life to any event. In this case, #CeciBride Kellie is not only a very close friend of Team Ceci but a member of Team Ceci as well! As an Account Manager, Kellie oversees the ins and outs of client’s projects from start to finish. From your initial call to the design process, production to processing and shipping of your order, she does it all! So it is not a surprise that we were over the moon to share in an event that was extremely elegant and totally Kellie.

Playing around with the theme of her wedding, Kellie described where inspiration was drawn from and how she incorporated our unique designs into her big day. “I always considered my style a bit more natural and bohemian. I envisioned a touch of modern with geometric shapes and metal details. But, I fell in love with a dress that was a bit more deco and glam, so my wedding day style ended up becoming a bit more of a dance between deco glam and bohemian touches. Between our dresses and vintage-inspired hair and makeup, my bridesmaids and I had the glam part down, and our bouquets were finished with hand-dyed raw silk; the same that was used in my invitation suite for that natural touch of softness. The rest of the details were colored in lush greens and purple florals.”

Bringing in the full range of accessories to her event, we designed several details that carried Kellie’s modern deco patterning and dusty purple colors through every moment of the event. From the escort cards that sat on white marble tables as guests entered the reception, to the popcorn treat bags labeled with playful purple stickers to finish out the night, pops of color and class adorned each space. Programs sat on each chair at the ceremony held in the gardens at Flowerfield in St. James, New York. One of the most unique touches of the night were signs made in memory of special family and friends. The couple wanted to honor their loved ones and allow guests to share this occasion with them by ordering each individual's favorite drink and toasting to them while enjoying something personal to those who were being remembered. We find that our creative touches like these are often the most meaningful. This wedding was nothing short of an amazing boho deco wedding perfectly suited for our dear friend and team member Kellie.
