We love it when our clients come to us with inspiration and ideas ready to collaborate and create something truly one-of-a-kind. That's exactly what happened with Shelby and Jake's invitation suite. Shelby came to us with one of our past Ceci New York couture suites (featuring watercolor florals printed onto acrylic). She loved the idea of the watercolors and acrylic, and also wanted to incorporate laser-cut printing as well as a custom wedding monogram. The fun challenge for us was to figure out a way to mix all of the elements, while still keeping the look elegant and romantic (fitting for their Four Seasons Austin wedding venue). Ceci Johnson painted a custom watercolor floral design (using flowers that Shelby picked out during their design session). Next, we printed the custom watercolor design onto acrylic and then juxtaposed it with foil stamping and their laser-cut monogram on the back of the invitation–a seamless combination of all of Shelby's favorite elements.
