Pastel Floral Menu For The Barn In The Meadow at Glenmere Mansion

Sometimes, what lies just outside of the city can transport you into what feels like another world. Glenmere Mansion, only 50 miles outside of New York City, is the perfect quick getaway for families and couples to celebrate their special events with an easy commute. Settled in the rolling farmlands of the lower Hudson Valley, this 150-acre estate now features a handful of event spaces alongside a hotel, 2 restaurants, and activities for guests of all ages. We were so excited to set a beautiful tone for their new “Barn In The Meadow” event space with accessories that evoked the Italian elegance and sophistication that the original villa housed. 

Sitting on the highest point of the expanse of meadowlands on the property, the barn faces the picturesque mountains and stunning Glenmere Lake. A brick path leads up to the long, elegant front porch that wraps around the barn, inviting you into the charming whitewashed wooden space with their signature turquoise doors. Adorned with Italian wedding chandeliers, vanity rooms for bridesmaids and groomsmen, and 10,000 square feet of open area, this venue has it all. At their grand opening of the barn, Glenmere styled the space to exemplify the unique ways any event could be held inside. They wanted guests to have an interactive meal with herbs of all different sorts that could be cut from the center of the tables and used to complement different courses. Our menus detailed how the herbs could be incorporated into their meals and were the centerpiece for each ornately decorated place setting accompanied by antique glass plates and gold finishes. Painted with large florals in soft pink and turquoise tones, our designs highlighted the natural beauty of the setting along with the historic chateau-like feel of the estate. With captivating and thoughtful details, there is no doubt that this barn space is a little slice of heaven!
