When we heard that our Ceci Bride Jacey was planning an ultra lush affair dripping with layers, luxe details and lots of lace we knew we had to run with this classic wedding staple. Lace can be sentimental, sweet, romantic, sexy – it's so versatile, and has long been the root of much of our creativity. However, for Jacey's Minneapolis, Minnesota wedding at The Depot, we wanted to put a spin on this feminine design and go with a more avant-garde approach.
The intricate laser-cut bellyband we created for Jacey did just that as it served as the guests' first taste of the custom lace design in action. The laser-cut band clasped in the center, presenting the invitation in a striking way - enticing the guests as they experienced the full suite. Then the invitation card, printed with gold letterpress, was balanced with our lace artwork in the four corners and a flourished script for the bride and groom's names.
DESIGN DETAILS: Ceci Couture wedding invitation suite custom printed with 1 color of gold letterpress on thick pearl white paper stock. To package and present the invitation to guests, is the laser cut band cut out of gold shimmer paper stock. The band clasps in the front center creating a dramatic reveal of the invitation upon opening. The reply set and mailing envelope featured 1 color gold letterpress printed designs.
