With Ceci Bride Olivia's wedding taking place at Fraser King's Park, a modern restaurant in a West Perth park in Western Australia, Olivia wanted to merge the organic garden with a more elegant, modern style. The overall look of the wedding was that of a mid-summer Hampton's party - offering up the perfect mix of natural and luxe. Our goal for Olivia was to capture that essence in her custom invitations. While her invitation designs are intricate and evoke a delicate, natural elegance, we incorporated pewter letterpress with a light blue foil stamping to offer a more modern aesthetic and not feel too girly.
Starting with the ribbon tie featuring their branded monogram on a foil stamped die-cut gold tag that wrapped around the delicate rice paper that enveloped the set, the result was a stunning, layered experience for her guests when they opened the invitation.
For the day of accessories, we incorporated the garden floral pattern onto Olivia's oversized round laser-cut menus that made a gorgeous design statement on her tables. The blue foil stamping had a special reappearance on the die-cut gift tags adorning each guests' personal bottle of Australian dessert wine for the gifts. Even the table signs welcomed in the blue floral pattern again. Not a single design moment was overlooked at this wedding. Well done!
DESIGN DETAILS: Ceci Couture wedding invitation suite custom printed with 2 colors of foil stamping and 1 color letterpress on thick pearl white paper stock. A specialty laser-cut border is cut into the edge of the invitation. The Invite set is then placed into a soft, organic rice paper wrapping and is tied with a ribbon. The mailing envelope features a unique, die-cut flap and pewter hand calligraphy. The rest of the suite details are letterpress printed on thick pearl white paper stock.
