This past Tuesday, we hosted a Paint & Sip event with Valdo to celebrate our collaboration, the Ceci x Valdo Aquarius Blanc de Blancs, as it enters the U.S. market. This exclusive gathering seamlessly blended creativity and refined taste, offering a memorable afternoon for lifestyle influencers, art enthusiasts, and wine lovers alike.
A MYTHICAL EXPERIENCE IN WATERCOLOR
Guests were transported into the underwater world of Aquarius, the muse for our bottle design. Hand-painted by Ceci Johnson herself, the design draws inspiration from the enchanting imagery of mythical mermaids, coral, and vibrant sea life. Each guest had the opportunity to create their own interpretation of this theme, guided by the internationally renowned artist behind the design, Ceci Johnson.
A TOAST TO AQUARIUS BLANC DE BLANCS
No celebration would be complete without a glass of sparkling wine, and the Valdo Aquarius Blanc de Blancs was the star of the afternoon. Sourced from the prestigious Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG region in Italy, Valdo is renowned for producing high-quality prosecco with a modern twist. The Aquarius Blanc de Blancs, with its crisp, refreshing flavor, added a touch of sophistication to the art-filled experience.
As guests painted, they sipped on chilled glasses of Aquarius, allowing the delicate bubbles and fresh notes of the wine to fuel their creativity. The pairing of art and sparkling wine created a perfect harmony, elevating both the painting process and the overall ambiance.
THE STORY BEHIND THE AQUARIUS BLANC DE BLANCS
Matteo Bolla, Valdo’s U.S. Business Development Manager, gave guests an inside look into the vision behind the Aquarius Blanc de Blancs. Valdo's goal with this special edition wine was to craft a product that not only honors Italy's winemaking traditions but also speaks to modern, artistic sensibilities. As Matteo explained, Valdo is dedicated to producing top-quality prosecco, and with Aquarius Blanc de Blancs, they’ve succeeded in creating a blend that is both elegant and versatile.
From the hand-painted mermaid label to the meticulously crafted wine inside, Aquarius is a celebration of artistry, both in design and taste. Valdo's commitment to excellence is evident in every detail, making the wine a perfect match for the artistic expression shared during the event.
