Our team will always jump at the chance to design with bright, playful colors. Thankfully, #CeciBride Sara Hoxha, from Albania, was not afraid to make a statement at her “La Dolce Vita Italiana” wedding in Lake Como, Italy! Inspired by rich pink and orange hues and Dolce & Gabbana's unapologetic use of florals, our design team created a vibrant suite that was full of life.
From first glance, we wanted guests to be transported into the luxurious feel of the wedding’s bold details and striking scenery. A gold shimmer custom converted envelope featured a flap that mirrored the classic romantic archways that sprinkled the couple’s venue, Villa Erba, and brought unique Italian splendor to our design. Magenta baroque flourishes with ornate roses surrounded their decorative custom monogram. Upon opening the envelope, florals in two-toned magenta and gold foil painted the inside.
Our visions of a dimension filled clear acrylic invitation were complete with sparkling gold foil lettering atop a beautiful custom floral watercolor by Ceci Johnson. Magenta, coral, and bright orange tones jumped off of the invitation, bringing the hand-painted flowers right to the guests. Mixing modern touches with magnificent patterning all in the most vibrant of colors gave Sara the playful suite we had imagined!
