A Winter Wonderland Bat Mitzvah Invitation With Holographic Foil And Laser Cut Sleeve

Bat mitzvah's pose an exciting opportunity for us to get more playful and animated with our designs. Celebrations are often created with extremely visual and bold themes in mind since such imaginative flair appeals to young adult guests. In this case, it was an added bonus that our client, Arielle, came to us wanting a special invitation for her daughter Nessya’s bat mitzvah in a place so picturesque as Park City, Utah. With event destinations like this, inspiration is around every corner!

Cool ice silver and fresh bright white painted the perfect, crisp tone for her snow studded invitations. One of her favorite activities is skiing, so we knew we had to feature lots of imagery that took guests right to the slopes. We designed a laser cut sleeve that was constructed to feel like it was our own elevated version of the classic, paper snowflake. As the guests slid the pearl shimmer cover off of the invite, they revealed more and more of the mountain, as if they were gliding right along with Nessya as she skied to the bottom. Her holographic silver logo sat front and center inside of a gondola, adding lots of fun sparkle and shine to her suite. This logo was then used to brand several of Nessya’s pieces, even in swag bag items handed out the day of the event. On the sides on the invite, holographic foil emboldened the card by lining each edge. Event details lettered in playful typography glimmered along the backside in matching holographic foil. Snowflakes danced along the borders to add a lively, yet sophisticated wintery touch.

This event was unique in that it was planned to overlap with the Jewish holiday of Chanukah. The family felt that it was important to highlight the significance of these celebrations coinciding by incorporating elements from both events. After brainstorming how to seamlessly intertwine the two, we introduced the idea of menorahs sitting in as the antlers on reindeer that sprinkled the invite. Our client loved this fantastically creative nod to the special holiday! It really is the little details that always set our designs apart!
