Tea for two? Yes please! When Ali came to me and said she wanted to incorporate her vintage tea cup collection somehow into her wedding, I said "lets make it the invitation." Fortunately, she embraced the possibility and the creative juices flowed from there. The invitation, printed on a paper napkin, tucked nicely into the saucer which complimented the RSVP card that came complete with a Ali and Elliot's favorite tea bag for brewing. Guests were blown away with not only this nice gift, but with a whimsically clever way to get them to attend their intimate wedding.
Sent in a square box, the invitation is a cream paper napkin that accompanies a vintage porcelain tea cup. Collected from flea markets and ebay, each guest received a unique tea cup complete with the RSVP card is a mini envelope with a tea bag in it saying RSVP and presenting their website for more details on the back. Napkin invitation is letterpress; all other paper products are flat printed.Tiny details made all the difference. Tied with a blue grosgrain ribbon, guests received a wonderful present!
