Real Bride Advice: Stay true to yourselves. I really had to force myself to take off the weddings editor hat and put on my bride hat for the sake of creating something truly authentic and personal. So our planning mantra was family first. If the wedding detail didn’t encourage family togetherness or symbolize our union, we skipped it.
What It’s Like to Be a Ceci New York Bride: Make a point to enjoy the planning process. We treated most of our wedding meetings like mini dates and really celebrated along the way. For example, after our cake tasting, we went out for dinner to celebrate. Having each planning moment feel like its own little event (and not like something we needed to check off our list), made the process a lot more fun!
